Filing a Voluntary Dissolution
A Business Entity (BE) is able to file a Voluntary
Dissolution when it terminates operations of its own accord. Your
company must be in a status of good standing or your filing will be rejected.
How to file a voluntary
dissolution:
Navigate to the
Corporations Division dashboard.
Select
the applicable amendment option from the dashboard. The File
an Amendment for an Entity screen displays with the File
an Amendment tab highlighted.
Enter
the Charter No. and then select
the File Amendment button.
The Details screen displays.
Select the applicable Filing
Type from the drop-down list.
- Select the File
Online button to display the Dissolution
screen.
- Enter the Authorized
Dissolution Date.
- Select the Next:
Voting button to display the Shareholder
Voting screen.
- Enter shareholder voting information.
- Select the Next:
Review Filing button to review your filing.
- Review the filing for accuracy; edit information
as needed.
- Select the Acknowledge
check box.
- Refer to Reviewing
Filings for detailed information on reviewing and editing
filings.
- Select the Next:
Signature button to display the associated screen.
- Select an officer or chairman from the list
that displays, or enter a signer name and address.
- Select the Affirmation
check box.
- Refer to Managing
Signatures for additional information.
- Select the Save
button.
- Select the Next:
Shopping Cart button to display the associated screen.
- Shopping cart items can be modified and new
items added, if needed.
- Select the Confirmation
check box.

- Select the Next:
Payment button to display the associated screen.
- Select your payment method and enter
payment information.
- Select the Terms
and Conditions check box.
- Refer to Managing
Payments for complete details.
- Select the Next:
Submit Payment button to display the associated screen.
- Payment confirmation displays information about
your order.
- To view documentation, select the View
Documentation button.
