Verifying Certificates

It is not necessary to be logged in to the application in order to confirm the authenticity of a business entity certificate. If found, the certificate number, date of issue and business entity name display. If you are already logged in, select Verify Certificates from the Certificates & Copies pane on the Corporations Division dashboard.

How to verify certificates without logging in:

1. Select the Verify Certificates link. The Document Verification Process screen displays.

2. Enter a Certificate Number in the text box and then select the Verify Certificate button. The application verifies:
• Certificate number is valid.
• Certificate number is not outside the validation window.  
• Certificate has not been validated beyond the maximum  number allowed.
